Sofia is studying at the University of Sheffield for a degree in English and Philosophy.

Normally, her chosen genre is poetry, however this year she has started to explore writing prose as well as hybrid poetry.

Within her work, Sofia aims to give power to those whose mouths feel silenced, to colour the imaginations which are bleak and to inspire others with vulnerability.

'Worms' explores the questioning of the vulnerable 'I' who feels dissociated from their former self, and the battle of accepting change when the past acts as a constant reminder.
