These are the talented winners of Cut Selection 2026, our project to find and give exposure to new writing talent.

We received some excellent submissions this year and, as ever, making the final decision was a difficult task. We are delighted to showcase poetry and prose by three new writers whose work impressed us all. If you submitted and weren’t successful, please don’t feel too downhearted if your piece wasn’t right for us this time, and do look out for our next call for subs (date tbc) and consider sending us more of your writing.
